It all took place in February of 2022, at the picturesque Peckforton Castle.
This beautiful blend of a modern British & Chinese civil ceremony was a photographer’s dream. So many naturally happy moments, overly joyous guests and every angle of this venue was PHOTOGENIC! We captured this wedding alongside Allure Events (Cinematographers), who we’ve had the pleasure of covering over 50 weddings with.
One of the great things about this civil ceremony is that it was very personalised and unique to the couple. Photographing these special moments was a wonderful way to document the couple's love story and capture the emotions of the day.
Another aspect of this event, was the fun we had photographing the celebrations that followed. Once Anthony kissed his bride, they exited together under a hurdle of confetti and swiftly moved into the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, where the immediate family members sit with them and exchange tea & gifts such as gold. The couple opted for a reception with all their family and friends, where there were often many opportunities for candid shots of the couple and their guests enjoying themselves and having a great time. Capturing the energy and excitement of this day made for some great photos.
